Infra red Camera and spotlight

My home made Infra red web cam and spotlight.
Recently I was inspired after reading this website
to convert one of my own old webcams into an infra red webcam. The project proved to be quite simple and consisted of the following
steps. The camera I used is just some generic cam I got with a budjet capture card a few years ago. It’s not even USB just
good old fashion compsite out. This will probably work with most webcams. I have a few friends that have already done it to theres.

I wanted to be able to see in the dark so I decided to pick up an Infared LED illuminator kit from Jameco. The kit had 36 IR led’s that are not visible to the naked eye. Some assembaly was required, Ok im kidding all the assembaly was required. Below are pictures of building it.

And here are some pics of the finnished illuminator and the camera.
